The Altoona Mirror has an article on the DUI court program headed by Blair County Judge Daniel Milliron. Judge Milliron says that although the DUI court program has been successful in treating repeat DUI offenders, the program is expensive and is limited in the number of defendants it can take.
Judge Milliron also says that he is considering making recommendations to prohibit first-time DUI offenders from consuming alcohol, revoking bail for second-time DUI offenders, and prohibiting DUI offenders who file pre-trial motions from being admitted to treatment programs.
