New data has been released showing that between November 26th and November 30th, 2008, nine people were killed and 321 people were injured in the 1,042 crashes to which state police responded. Of the nine killed, four were involved in alcohol related crashes.

The Pennsylvania State Police also issued 5,840 speeding citations and made 416 DUI arrests.

“The crash numbers cover only those incidents investigated by state police and do not include statistics on crashes to which other law-enforcement agencies responded.”
