In the News: Craigslist to help government crack down on online prostitution ads

In a new agreement with various attorneys general, including the Pennsylvania attorney general, Craigslist is going to crack down on ads promoting prostitution. Craigslist will now require a fee, payable by credit card, and a valid phone number for sellers who post ads for erotic services.

Craigslist has made the news recently as an avenue for child prostitution as well as adult prostitution.
