In the News: New NE interlock law for first-time DUI offenders

Nebraska has a new law requiring all first-time DUI offenders to have an interlock device installed on their vehicles. Additionally, anyone convicted of drunk driving where the blood alcohol level (BAC) is above .15% is subject to a mandatory one-year driver’s license suspension. After serving two-months without driving, these offenders are eligible for a limited license.
