Prosecutor Lawrence X. O’Reilly, the supervisor for the Illinois State Attorney’s traffic division, has recommended that 28 of Chicago’s top DUI enforcement police officers be required to have dashboard cameras. This recommendation comes in in the wake of the discovery that some Chicago police officers have submitted false arrest reports in DUI cases.
