A dismissed juror in the Ted Stevens trial admitted that her father did not die and that she was, in fact, attending the Breeder’s Cup horse race in California. Marian Hinnant lied to the court and was replaced as a juror on October 27th. Stevens was convicted on seven felony counts of corruption later that day.
