A random survey of ER doctors reveals that 99.8% of the respondents believe police use excessive force while 97.8% stated that they had patients who they believed or self-reported that police used excessive force. The doctors reported that”blunt trauma” from hands or feet was the leading cause of excessive force while the second leading cause was overly-tight handcuffs.
