**UPDATED 3/12/2009**
In response to couch-burning incidents that were reported in the wake of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Super Bowl victory, Pittsburgh City Council, in a preliminary vote, has unanimously agreed upon an ordinance prohibiting home owners from keeping upholstered furniture designed for indoor use in any unenclosed area outside of their homes.
