R. Kelly, R&B star and writer, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after his federal convictions for racketeering and Mann Act violations. Kelly was previously tried and acquitted of unrelated sexual abuse charges in 2008. He is scheduled for another federal trial in Chicago later this year.
